HEUERS IN TRIEGLAFF, GREIFENBERG, POMMERN 1765-1779

FILM # 0903339

Included are the following villages: Gruchow, Idashof, Streckentin, Lebbin and Broitz and sometimes Batzwitz.

This film is arranged completely different from any other I have looked at. Events followed one another down the page, not defining what they were. They were in chronological order, but the kind of event was determined by the heading at the top of the column it was in. The writing was very poor. Add to this, bleed-through from the previous page and missing water-soaked corners. Loose pages were inserted at random before filming so there was little continuity. Many pages were filmed three time.

Trieglaff in Kreis Greifenberg borders on Kreis Regenwalde on the south. Many parishioners from the neighboring Kreis attended church in Trieglaff. There were two Lutheran churches there. One was an Alt Lutheran and the other was the Evangelische Kirche. Following is the best possible list of Heuers in this place. Most of the time, only yearly dates will appear. Page numbers are just by chance.

This is an attempt to count anyone named "Heuer" with the closest estimate of a date as possible. Spelling for this time line follows the spelling found in the records, and it varied greatly from year to year and page to page. Page numbers are given whenever found.

This picture of the Trieglaff Church (Left) was copied form Chronik des Kreises Grieifenberg.
